WRIST BANDS
by Anna

We'd like to tell you about wrist bands. When you come to Radley you are given two types of wrist bands. It depends on which colour your team have, so they are blue or yellow. But if you are active, helpful, polite, sociable, if you practice, your communicating in English with students from foreign countries, student hosts, active leaders, etc.  you will be rewarded  according to you deeds! That means that you will have a chance to get an orange wrist band and then purple. It gives you some privileges, for example you don't have to stand in the queue in the canteen, you may go first without waiting. But you must make effort to be worthy of such cool bands!

Multi Activity

When we arrived in the basketball court, I was surprised because it was larger than I thought.  Almost all my teammates played it well, but  I couldn't  play so well.
Additionally I forget to change sport clothes, so it was hard to move. Our team lost in the first game, and I tried to shoot from far out. We couldn't play anymore games, but I played mini-games with different teams.
Overall, I had fun playing Basketball!

TURKISH TRIP TO OXFORD
BY CAN

Yesterday evening we went to Oxford with our leader and we went shopping. Later we went to eat. We ate at Mc Donald’s. I had a big mac menu and I liked it. We waited for the bus for 1 hour and 10 minutes to return to Radley College.

Food in Radley―dinner
By: Joey

It was a rainy day. I got my dinner and started to eat it, but the taste was not very good. Suddenly I started to miss Taiwan’s food, such as braised pork rice and meat rice dumpling which I like very much, unlike the food in Radley. The taste was far from the food in Taiwan. Although it was more delicious than before I still don’t like it.

Food At Radley

The meals are three times a day at Radley. One problem, that is always easily noticeb by me and probably by everybody else, is queues. When i go to eat, there is a very long queue at the entrance, all the time. In my opinion it happens because there is only one way to get food. In my opinion, the heads of the school should make the second stand, where students can get there food, on the opposite side of the one which is working right now. Another problem is that, if you are late, you have to stand at the back of the line, and if this happens, there is a possibility that you might not get the whole portion of food you deserve to. After the long time of waiting in the line of hungry children, everybody expects to get the food, worth waiting in the queue. But the food is always as usual, like everywhere else. However, the students of the Radley summer school are still happy with it.
