Societies

by Dougie

Yesterday the societies and clubs started. These ranged from tag rugby and Gaelic sports to Scottish society and aerobics. The 30 degree heat was unbearable for everyone at the campus (including the Spanish and Greek students!) and this meant that it was difficult to fully participate in the activities.

The societies and clubs give the students an opportunity to try something new and different. Carlo Michahelles said that he “enjoyed the tag rugby, but [he] would have preferred to play contact rugby”.

The societies continue for the next two weeks so students can improve their skills in their chosen activity.
