Deal or no Deal
By Alua Akhmetova and Akmaral Saparova
Do you remember
yesterday evening? If you don’t, we are going to write about that. We want to write about the game show “Deal or
not Deal”. Everyone in our college could check his or her luck.
When we came to the theatre our activity leaders gave us
tickets with numbers. Activity leaders sang a song (One Direction “One way or
another”). It was brilliant and entertaining. Then our game started. Dave was a
presenter in the show and explained the rules: he took a ticket from the hat
and told us a number. If it was your number, you had to go to the stage. So, at
the stage there were fourteen students. Everyone had to hold their envelope
with their number. Then Dave took a ticket and chose from the above numbers
only one ticket. In the act of the game banker phoned and offered a different
deal.
At first game the lucky one was a
girl from Russia – Kristina. Kristina was really lucky. At first, she wasn't such a good
player and lost some good presents: five tickets to the cinema (very good
prize!), four large pizzas, and a big cake. But she won a staff servant for the
day and she chose Gary!!!
Then played a boy from Germany called Malte. We can’t say he
was as lucky like as Kristina (I’m sorry, Malte!) because he lost all presents
and won only one biscuit.
Overall, we had very good time and were interested in that
game.

And the shows starts... Potential candidates came onto the stage if their ticket number was read out
Dave was the main host
Christina, the first competitor, almost settled for a deal that the banker offered - Gary's smelly sock! She took the risk though, kept playing, and instead won Gary as her servant for a day!
Malte wasn't too upset about his biscuit either (he said they were his favourite biscuits!) but didn't want to have a picture taken for the blog. maybe another day... Watch this space!
