 PUNTING

Everyone went to Oxford for punting except who came to Radley for one or two week. First of all, l want to give some information about punting. A punt is a flat boat with a broad front, designed for use in small rivers or other shallow water. One person had to drive it with a pole.

That day everyone needed to make group for 5 people. If you want to drive it, you can but we didn't drive it because every boat had one stuff so they drove them. We traveled around the river. It was 20 minutes. I think it was fantastic. It was relaxing.

Music room in social
By: Joey

When I got back to the social I heard some music from the music room. I walked in to the music room, and saw someone was playing the piano. He played it very well. After he finish playing it all the people in the room were shocked. The music he played was amazing. I would like to learn something from him.

So, we’ve already passed some days and they were full of great emotions, they were full of happiness. There was great excursion to Oxford, it helped us to communicate with new people, and we found some new things and we went shopping.
Next day we had our first classes. By the way, I was realy nervous about that. But in my opinion it was awesome, i even have nothing to compare with. I think you can’t even imagine my amazement.

That days was great. I hope all my vocations will be so.

Da Trip to Oxford and Da ChristChurch Church.

On Thursday, as the new arrivals were settling down, the students were taken to Oxford. A part of them went punting. These were the guys from week one. As for the rest of the school, they were taken to Christchurch. The staff brought in a new idea, which was represented by grouping the students by their animal teams. This was indeed a revolutionary idea that changed the way we perceive the world and the creation of the universe. The buses were very well balanced. The first two trips they were either too hot or too chilly. This time there was a slight breeze that
kept everyone from overheating, but wasn’t too hot either. Good shit.
As we got there, we were let off for 1 hour to go shopping. Some people complained that that wasn’t enough. Sadly, there was nothing that could be done since the schedule had to be strict to ensure enough time for Christ Church. Eventually it all seemed to work out correctly.
The significance of Christ Church is that the movie Harry Potter was filmed there. People of all ages want to go and witness the spiritual presence of Dumbledore. That’s all. We had a lot of fun in Burger Kings and McDonalds’s.

As for the behaviour of the kids, things were a little worse than last time. A couple of Italian guys got lost and the staff had to search for them. Thankfully, they had their lanyard with them, which they used to phone Gary and inform him of their location. In the end, it all worked out fine.

In conclusion, the trip was very good as far as comfort goes, but it was pretty boring. There was nothing much to see in Christchurch and the 1 hour shopping just wasn’t enough.
THE CUBE
By Can and Caroline

The cube is a cool game at Radley College. The two groups (yellow and blue) have to send students on to the stage. In some of the games you are blindfolded and you have to catch or throw a ball. In another game which is called Precision you have to flick a table tennis ball into a target. Memories is a game which tests your memory and you have to remember what you have seen on a picture. Our favourite game was Balance: A student who is blindfolded has to walk around the cube. Another cool game was called Multi-Sphere where two targets stand on a table and your task is it to take one ball from the one target to the other target, as usual yellows won the games.

ABOUT TOWER OF LONDON

The Tower of London is one of the world’s most famous fortresses and has seen service as royal palace, prison,  armory and even a zoo.

Constructed over 900 years ago by William the Conqueror, the Tower of London is steeped in a rich history. This fortress was expanded by many medieval kings and is a grand structure used by Royals through the years as a refuge and power base.

The Tower is still home to her majesty's Crown Jewels, on display for visitors to see, and the infamous Beefeaters tasked with the job of guarding them as well as showing visitors some of the attractions highlights.

The White Tower is the huge and beautiful stone building in the middle of the sight and is home to a variety of ever-changing exhibitions of historic and royal artifacts. Traitors Gate on outer walls by the river is infamously known as the entrance for traitors that had been sent to the Tower for execution. Look out for the Beefeaters who are on hand to tell the tales of some of the unlucky few who came through Traitors Gate.
